Marlene Lindsay, MS ARNP-C
Marlene Lindsay, MS ARNP-C, is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner licensed by the state of Florida. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems in the adult and continuing to the geriatric population.
Marlene was born and raised in the UK with her parents and 5 siblings. She moved to Florida with her family in 1986. Marlene has always had a passion for helping others so she began her career as a teenager working as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home then working as a clinical Technician at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). While working as a clinical technician, Marlene attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and graduated Sigma Theta Tau with a Bachelors of Science in nursing (BSN). While working as a Registered nurse for 4 years Marlene gained a wealth of experience and education in various areas of patient care (medical, surgical, neurological, and orthopedic). She then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Florida (USF) and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 19 years. Most of Marlene days are spent in the office seeing patients, but she also spends part of her day seeing patients at the nursing home/rehab facilities.
Marlene has strong nursing and strong communication skills and she strives to provide the best health care possible. She enjoys and believes in building long lasting and trusting relationships with her patients and customers. She always seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs.
Outside of medicine Marlene enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and listening to music. She also has a passion for buying and selling real estate.
